An "authenticity coach" guides people "to become the most authentic version of themselves" - from ending a relationship to leaving a job or moving across the world."

Calypso Barnum-Bobb, 31, worked in the fast-paced fashion industry for seven years before becoming burnt out.

She realised she needed to make a change to prioritise her own happiness - and got certified as a life coach.

She found lots of clients were seeking advice on how to make changes in their lives to feel more fulfilled - often after becoming burnt out, like she was.

So she learnt coaching techniques to guide people on how to live their "most authentic" selves."

Now she spends her days coaching people on how to do that - whether it's overcoming fears, switching careers, leaving an unhappy relationship or having a child.

Calypso, who lives in Hackney, East London, said: "I support humans in freeing their full selves."

"It could be about addressing early years conditions, societal pressures or internal limiting beliefs."

"The transition is always the person building up the confidence to make changes."

"They could have a beautiful dream trip they want to take but they thought they could never take the time off, or they're not sure if they want to start a family."

"People believe that once they achieve certain things, like getting a well paid job, that they'll be happy."

"I'm there for when people get to that point, and think 'is this really me - or just who I thought I wanted to be?'."

Drawing on her own life experiences after taking a new career path in her late twenties, Calypso now helps others do the same.

The average age range of her clients is 26-40, but her oldest was around 46.

She said: "They get to the point where it feels too late to make a change but they realise they aren't doing what they want."

Calypso uses multiple different techniques to help people explore their inner beliefs.

These include conversational coaching to encourage self reflection, as well as hypnotherapy, breathwork and neurolinguistic practices.

Calypso hosts retreats, community group support sessions and one-to-one sessions.

She clarified it's much different to therapy or counselling - and encourages clients to get the relevant mental health support if seek that from her.

One client had sought help after being in a relationship where they weren't being prioritised - culminating in them leaving the relationship and booking a self-care holiday.

Another had come to her as they were in a happy relationship but wanted to transition to being in an 'open relationship' - and Calypso supported them through making that change.

Another client had been in the same high-paid fast-paced corporate job since they were a teenager but didn't know how to follow their creative passions.

Calypso said the end goal is to help people live to the "truest version of themselves" - whatever that might be."

Her monthly community groups can be as little as £25 a session, while her three-month coaching programme costs £3,000.

She said: "I think this generation of people are understanding and taking control back on how we want to live our lives."

"We're realising it's not our external circumstances that define us."

"You have to pause and reflect on your inner beliefs that are holding you back."

"That way you can address them and then make changes so you can catapult yourself forward."

"The world is waiting for the most authentic version of you to show up."

"It's empowering people to be who they are, versus who the world told them they should be."
