Rusholme, Manchester, UK - January 15, 2025 [Note: no sound] A suspected burglar’s attempt to evade capture was short-lived after police found him hiding under a bed in a property on Boscombe Street. Officers had been patrolling the Rusholme and Moss Side areas due to a rise in burglaries when they spotted the man acting suspiciously. After following him to the address, they searched the room and discovered him hiding in a storage compartment beneath the bed. The 41-year-old man, believed to be behind multiple local burglaries, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. Another man, found at the property, was also arrested for unrelated theft and burglary offenses. Police hailed the proactive patrols as an effective tool in combatting neighborhood crime.
