Oklahoma City, United States - January 13, 2025 On January 13, 2025, Oklahoma City witnessed a dramatic pursuit that ended with a stolen car crashing into the fence at Tinker Air Force Base. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested two suspects, including one who fled over the fence but was later apprehended. The stolen vehicle belonged to a deaf couple from Moore, who were unaware their car was taken from their driveway on Sunday. Miranda Pollard, the car’s owner, learned of the theft when neighbors identified the vehicle on news reports. “I woke up to comments and tags on social media saying, ‘Your car was on the news,’” Pollard said through a sign language interpreter. Pollard and her fiancé, Robby LaCourt, were shocked to discover the car was not only stolen but heavily damaged after the pursuit. “We just put our new baby car seat in that car, and now it’s unusable,” said Pollard. The couple, preparing for their wedding next week, remains hopeful that insurance will cover the replacement costs. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues investigating the incident, with no further details released about the suspects.
