Ciudad Real, Spain - January 20, 2025 Ciudad Real International Airport (CRIA), the company that owns Ciudad Real Airport, is working with the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to operate the airport in mixed-use, meaning restricted use and public use, to enable a more flexible and economical use.The mixed-use will involve opening air traffic in these two modes independently and not simultaneously, using each use depending on the different types of traffic. The restricted use will allow for the accommodation of private aviation aircraft and maintenance flights, while public use will also allow for the accommodation of commercial flights for both passengers and on-demand cargo.
