Los Angeles, United States - January 20, 2025 01/20/2025 12:15 am (GMT-0800) PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES – LAPD Rampart officers received several calls reporting a shooting inside a building in the 1400 block of Oak Street in the PIco-Union neighborhood of Central Los Angeles. One of the women reporting the shooting stated she heard eight shots and barricaded herself in a bathroom for safety. Officers arrived to find several people leaving what appeared to be an illegal nightclub and located one male with a gunshot wound to the back. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital in unknown condition. LAPD officers detained several people who were found in the building and cleared the location to ensure there were no further victims. No additional details were provided at the scene.
