Türkiye's foreign policy in 2025 will prioritize issues related to its geographical proximity, especially concerning Syria and Gaza, an expert has said.

"Türkiye is positioning itself as a power interlocutor in both of these cases. The Syrian case is already appearing to yield some results. Türkiye has established itself as the Damascus government's primary strategic partner.
In Gaza, Türkiye's current position is limited. Türkiye does not exercise the same level of influence in the Gaza conflict. But again there are similar goals there. Türkiye is quite interested in Gaza's reconstruction and is interested in influencing and designing the political administration in Gaza.
(Türkiye wants to assist in) the humanitarian efforts to lift Gaza from its current war-torn climate."
