Climate protesters targeted the annual globalist gathering in Davos, Switzerland.

The activists disrupted access to the World Economic Forum (WEF) with protests, including road blockades and dyeing local waterways green on January 18.

Footage shows how an estimated 350 participants staged a peaceful sit-in on the main access road, halting traffic.

The Davos Lake and Landwasser River were dyed green using biodegradable dye, a symbolic protest against the WEF's alleged greenwashing.

Demonstrators accused the forum of masking environmental and social damage caused by its participants.

Protester Alex Sattler said: 'The civil resistance against this summit of injustice is long overdue. The WEF is where the wealthy and powerful profit from crises and exploitation, particularly at the expense of the Global South.'

The protests, organised by the Swiss group StrikeWEF, included pop-up demonstrations targeting companies like Yara and Palantir, which activists accused of exploitative practices. They also criticised the WEF for providing these companies with a platform.

The WEF, set to begin on January 20, faces increasing criticism from those calling for a global system that prioritises people and the planet over profit.
