Man builds fire to warm freezing cow that fell into icy river
A Good Samaritan built a fire to warm a freezing cow that fell into a river.
The local and his neighbours saved the bovine that slipped down the icy body of water, but it was chilling from the cold, so he built a fire pit in Bashkortostan, Russia on January 11.
Footage shows the residents checking the animal for injuries after the DIY rescue operation.
Its legs were stiff from the low temperature, so they massaged each of its limbs before the bonfire was built to help.
One of the locals said: 'There should be as many kind, sympathetic people like this in the world as possible.'
