Argentina: AMIA remembers prosecutor Alberto Nisman 10 years after death
Argentina - January 21, 2025 The Israeli-Argentine Mutual Association (AMIA) paid tribute to federal prosecutor Alberto Nisman on Monday, ten years after his death. AMIA President Amos Linetzky highlighted the ‘impunity’ surrounding both Nisman's murder and the 1994 AMIA bombing case he was investigating at the time of his death. Nisman, found dead on 18 January 2015, was investigating the 1994 AMIA terrorist bombing that killed 85 people. A recent report by the prosecutor confirmed that Nisman's death was related to his investigation of the AMIA case and the accusations against Iran.
