Motorcycle rider pulls over when snake emerges from handlebars
A motorcycle rider pulled over to ask for help extracting a baby snake that emerged from his handlebars.
Chai, 42, was travelling on the Yamaha Filano with his girlfriend on the way to the market when he saw the rat snake slithering at the front of the vehicle in Phatthalung province, Thailand, on January 26.
Footage shows Chai helping as rescue team members remove the cover of the scooter.
The blue two-wheeler was dismantled as the small serpent slithered through the gaps to hide.
Chai said: 'I was shocked and wiggled. We almost fell. We stopped in the middle of the road to call for help.'
The volunteers disassembled the Yamaha within ten minutes, and the 1ft snake was finally pulled out.
They placed it in an empty Coca-Cola bottle before being taken with them for release.
