Madhya Pradesh, India - November 15, 2024 A porcupine trapped in a well, spent overnight in the water was rescued successfully by a rescue team with the help of local farmers. The rescue took place in northern India’s Madhya Pradesh, in Rajgarh district, on November 15, 2024. Visuals show a man attempting to pull a porcupine from a well using a rope. Halfway through the pull, the porcupine is dropped into the well again, making it swim into the well due to fear. The porcupine tries to climb out of the well on its own but fails. A man finally rescues the porcupine by pulling it out using a rope. The rescued porcupine runs through a field into a bush with the rope still around it to escape from the people. Speaking to Neswslions, Govind, one of the rescuers, mentioned that the rescue operation was carried out by a rescue team called Snake Army, a five-year-old team with ten members. The Snake Army was informed about the Porcupine by local farmers. The team reached the spot in the morning and successfully rescued the porcupine within an hour.
