Valencia, Spain - January 21, 2025 Miranda, Plombir, Yurka and Kilu are a family of “well-adjusted” beluga whales that live together in the facilities of the Oceanogràfic of Valencia. The first two were rescued from the Nemo aquarium in Kharkov, Ukraine, and after months of personalized attention and a process of adaptation, they have successfully adapted to the Valencian facilities and have begun to communicate with each other. These four beluga whales have become the only group of beluga whales in Europe. (Camera: EUSEBIO CALATAYUD.)
