Police bust cocaine smuggling ring at shopping mall in Madrid
Police dismantled a cocaine smuggling ring at a shopping mall in Madrid.
Authorities seized nearly 200 kilos of cocaine, worth around six million EUR (5,064,150 GBP), on January 20.
Three suspects were arrested in connection with the shipment of drugs from Ecuador to the port of Algeciras.
Footage shows authorities apprehending the alleged smugglers, with some inspecting their vehicle. The individuals were linked to African drug trafficking groups.
The operation began in August 2024 and involved cooperation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
