On January 20, an alarming incident unfolded at Jiujiang Railway Station in Jiangxi Province when a young boy fell into the gap between the platform and a train out of sheer curiosity.

Surveillance footage captured the moment when, during an extended train stop, parents allowed their child some fresh air on the platform. The boy, intrigued by the train, ran toward it to touch the side and accidentally stepped into the gap between the train and the platform.

Reacting immediately, the parents rushed to help, and officer Fang Ming, a nearby railway police officer, sprang into action. Together, they managed to rescue the boy from the gap before any harm occurred.

Fortunately, the boy was unharmed and later continued his journey with his family as scheduled. This incident serves as a critical reminder of the importance of vigilance and safety around trains.
