Office workers panic as magnitude 5.4 earthquake hits the Philippines

This is the moment office workers fled when an earthquake shook their building in the Philippines this morning.

CCTV shows the tremors shaking desks inside the call centre in Zamboanga del Norte province at 11:41 am local time.

the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported the earthquake as having a magnitude of 6.1 before it revised the bulletin to magnitude of 5.4 later in the day.

Its epicentre was located some 5km east of the town of Siocon.
