A clumsy grandmother accidentally spilt hot tea on a toddler's head when she tried to take a cup from her daughter.

CCTV footage shows the 85-year-old reaching for the ginger tea, but her weak arms bumped it in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, on December 5.

The hot liquid splashed and poured onto the two-year-old Baiboon below who burst into tears.

Baiboon's panicked mum and aunt rushed her out of the room to check if she was burned by the water.

However, she was unhurt as the hot water dripped onto her hair and flowed to her clothes without contacting her skin.

Relative Oil said: 'The ginger tea was very hot. The water had just boiled at that time and Baiboon could be hurt.

'We were relieved they were not seriously burned. It all happened accidentally.'
