Storm Eowyn empties Dublin supermarket shelves as northside runs out of sliced pans in Lidl, Tesco, Dunnes, and SuperValu
Video Credit - Robbie Kane
Storm Eowyn has seemingly emptied Dublin's supermarket shelves - and the northside may be fully out of sliced pans.
Ireland is bracing for what is expected to be one of the worst storms in recent memory, with an extremely rare Status Red weather warning issued for the entire country. Severe and damaging winds of over 130km/h are forecast to wreak havoc on Friday, with the capital under red alert between 4am and 11am. Most supermarkets have confirmed they will shut their doors during the storm, but plan to reopen on Friday afternoon. Shoppers have also been urged to remain calm - and not panic buy.
