Rome, Italy - January 24, 2025 The unknown drawings by Salvador Dalí inspired by Dante Alighieri's 'The Divine Comedy', commissioned by the Italian government to the Spanish artist, but subsequently blocked to avoid a political crisis, are exhibited from Friday along with 80 other works from private collections at the Infantry Museum in Rome. Dalí was a complete artist; in a way, he created a new way of making art, not only by reducing himself to pictorial elements and creativity in the studio but also by becoming a public figure.
