Footage has emerged from Belgrade, Serbia of protesters throwing toilet paper at a government building, following the controversial demolition of buildings in the capital's Savamala district.

The video, filmed yesterday, shows a massive crowd standing in front of the council throwing large amounts of toilet paper at the building.

According to local reports, thousands of protesters have gathered to demand the resignations of the Interior Minister and police officials.

A protest in front of the city council building, following the recent events in the Savamala neighbourhood where a group of masked people have beaten lokals and destroyed a number of buildings, presumably with a blessing from city officials and in favour of megalomaniac project of a new modern neighbourhood on these grounds.
