Thailand - January 27, 2025 On Monday, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra officially launched the second phase of the economic stimulus programme aimed at Thai citizens aged 60 and over. The initiative will transfer 10,000 THB to more than 3 million senior citizens across the country through PromptPay accounts linked to their national identification numbers, injecting more than 30 billion THB into the Thai economy.
