STORYLINE:

With the Spring Festival around the corner, a group of international students came to Haicheng, northeast China's Liaoning Province, to experience a century-old local delicacy in a joyful atmosphere.

"Hello, everyone. Niuzhuang Stuffed Pancake is famous for its thin skin and generous meat filling. The crust is slightly cooked while the filling remains tender, offering both freshness and flavor - rich but not greasy."

Originating in the 1920s, techniques for making Niuzhuang Stuffed Pancake have been passed down for over a hundred years and have been recognized as a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage of Liaoning.

"We also make pancakes in Türkiye. But they are different from those in China. Turkish pancakes are typically stuffed with potatoes or cheese."
