On January 24, due to the peak travel period of the Spring Festival, a highway section in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, experienced a traffic jam, with vehicles stranded for an extended period. To alleviate the boredom and anxiety of the journey, members of a lion dance troupe decided to spontaneously perform a lion dance for those stuck on the road.

A video shows the troupe members stepping out of their vehicles, putting on their costumes, and starting a lively lion dance performance right on the highway. Their impromptu act attracted the attention of many drivers and passengers, who eagerly took out their phones to capture this rare scene. The atmosphere on-site became lighthearted and joyful, helping to ease the frustration caused by the traffic jam.

It is reported that the members of this lion dance troupe have an average age of 19. While stuck in traffic on their way home for the Spring Festival, they decided to bring joy to everyone in their own unique way.
