From Europe to the Pacific, celebrations are held worldwide to welcome this festive occasion.
In Barcelona, Spain, thousands gathered along the streets on Saturday to enjoy a lively parade featuring Chinese and Spanish cultural groups. The parade kicked off two weeks of new year festivities.

Meanwhile, in Nausori, Fiji, the local Chinese community came together with other residents for a Chinese New Year folklife festival at the Nausori Plaza.
At the festival, Post Fiji and the China Cultural Center jointly issued special stamps to mark the Chinese zodiac Year of the Snake.
In Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, teachers and students from a local middle school gathered to share the joy of the Spring Festival. Participants sent heartfelt expressions of warm wishes to their friends in China.
