Los Angeles, United States - January 28, 2025 01/28/2025 12:12 am (GMT-0800) VERMONT SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Southwest Division units were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when an officer-involved collision occurred at the intersection of Hoover Street and 41st Drive, according to authorities. The two officers in a Crown Victoria police vehicle were transported to the hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics with unknown injuries. The LAPD confirmed Initial reports that one of the officers was trapped inside the vehicle due to significant collision damage to the passenger side door. KNN spoke with LAPD Spokesperson Officer Chavez later Tuesday morning, who said the officers were in stable condition. According to Chavez, three suspects are in custody. No additional details regarding this incident have been released by the LAPD at this time.
