Los Angeles, United States - January 27, 2025 01/27/2025 09:40 pm (GMT-0800) SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – A sedan traveling at a high rate of speed violently severed a power pole, bringing down a transformer and severing a water line in the Newhall area of the city of Santa Clarita. The crash occurred in the 24300 block of Railroad Avenue, north of Market Street, shortly after 9:30 p.m. Witnesses at the scene said a Cadillac CTS was traveling at a high rate of speed before it slammed into the power pole. Water gushed out of a building next to the power pole, flooding the crash location. The driver was rushed to a trauma center in unknown condition. The crash remains under investigation by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. Drone footage featured here has been reviewed and verified by Key News Network LLC.
