STORYLINE:

The historic Swiss Club in Egypt's Giza governorate, an area of Greater Cairo, transformed into a vibrant tapestry of cultures as over 700 young Egyptians joined on Sunday to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival.

Organized by the Bayt Al-Hekma Cultural Group, a publishing house specializing in Arabic translations of Chinese literary works, the event was not just a cultural exchange but also a celebration of the deep and enduring friendship between Egypt and China.

Meanwhile, Bayt Al-Hekma Cultural Group chairman Ahmed al-Saeed highlighted the significance of the celebration.

We aim to present Egypt as a country that embraces all cultures, welcomes the presence of the Chinese on its land, and celebrates with them the Spring Festival - one of the most significant traditions in human history."
