The moment an Amazon delivery van slid down an icy road and crashed into a church was caught by a Ring security camera in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The camera's owner said: "I was notified by Ring that someone was at my camera. Of course the snap shot that was provided showed an individual at my portable toilet.

"It took me a few views to realise what had happened after I realised I was watching an Amazon van go over the hill into a church.

"I did not know until later that the individual had parked the vehicle and was attempting to call for a tow truck when the van started to slide on the ice, from the days previous snow storm and they jumped out safely."
