Los Angeles, United States - January 29, 2025 01/29/2025 01:43 am (GMT-0800) STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police officers and firefighters responded to a reported traffic collision involving city property in the 3700 block of Cahuenga Boulevard. Firefighters arrived and located a sedan that sheared a hydrant, struck a gate and possibly hit a wall. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported a woman with unknown injuries to a local hospital. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power personnel were requested due to water gushing from the hydrant into high-voltage power lines. The lines arced several times, knocking power out to the area. LADWP crews arrived, dealt with the power issue, and successfully turned off the water. The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
