Landslide crashes onto road in front of shocked drivers
This is the moment a landslide from a mountain crashed onto a road in front of shocked drivers.
Footage shows rocks and soil eroding from the slope, followed by a large portion of the cliffside collapsing in Yala, southern Thailand, on January 29.
The vehicles were stopped by local officers, who closed the road due to small debris continuously rolling down from the mountain since earlier that day.
The motorists were stuck in heavy traffic and had to turn back because the landslide had covered the road.
Resident Dusit Padsamee said: 'It was reported immediately so the officers could check. We were so scared, but no one was hurt.'
No one was hurt, and no damage was reported. The officers stayed in the area for clearing operations.
Drivers were able to pass through the area again later that day.
