Coast guard rescue hiker who fell from cliffs in Italy
Coast Guard officers rescued a hiker who slipped off a cliff in Italy.
The team rushed to the scene with a boat to extract a resident who slid down the slope and was stuck in a rockface in Lampedusa on January 29.
Footage shows a team member dangling on a cliff with a rope. He climbed up the spot where the local was trapped and helped him down.
A boat was waiting for them at the bottom which transported the hiker, who was not seriously hurt, to safety.
