Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region saw a yearly rise of 
21.8 percent in foreign trade in 2024, the local customs authorities said.

The region's total import and export volume for the year reached 435.11 billion yuan (60.69 billion U.S. dollars), according to Urumqi Customs.
