On January 30th, a powerful methane explosion rocked a parking lot in Zizhong County, Neijiang, Sichuan, after a young boy ignited a firecracker and threw it into a sewer. The blast, triggered by accumulated biogas from a septic tank, sent a manhole cover flying, spewing dark sludge several meters into the air. CCTV footage captures the dramatic moment as a parked car is flipped upside down by the shockwave, while several other vehicles sustain damage. Miraculously, no one was injured, including a passing woman who narrowly escaped the blast. Police quickly arrived at the scene, detaining the boy and contacting his parents. Authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage.

1月30日下午，在四川内江资中县一停车场内发生了一起沼气爆炸事故。事故由一名大约10岁的男孩引发，他在车辆中间点燃了一个鞭炮并扔进了下水道井盖内，井盖下为化粪池发酵区域，存储了大量的沼气。鞭炮点燃了沼气后，引发了剧烈的爆炸。
从监控视频中可以看到，爆炸发生时，先是火光冒出，井盖被炸起，随后黑色的泥浆喷射高达数米，一辆停放在附近的车辆被气浪掀翻，四轮朝天落在地上。除了这辆被掀翻的车外，还有多辆车受损。所幸，肇事男孩及时撤离了现场。另外，一名女子事发前正好从附近路过，仅仅几秒后就发生了爆炸，也幸运地逃过一难。
视频显示，停车场路面被炸出了一个巨大的坑，露出了深深的黑洞，地下管道也受损严重。
事故发生后，有多名民警赶到现场。肇事男孩已被两名警察控制后带上警车，民警还拨打电话联系了男孩的家长。
据当地政府部门通报，事故并未造成人员伤亡，目前具体损失还在进一步统计中。
