US, Los Angeles: Long Beach Solo Vehicle Crash Leaves 1 Dead 1 Injured

Los Angeles, United States - January 30, 2025 01/30/2025 02:56 am (GMT-0800) LONG BEACH, Calif. – California Highway Patrol South Los Angeles Area officers and Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded to a solo vehicle crash on the northbound 710 and Del Amo Boulevard. It was reported that the vehicle left the roadway and went down an embankment. Officers arrived to find an Acura sedan that had left the main lanes and drove up a dirt shoulder into a chainlink fence. Two people found trapped inside the car were extricated by firefighters. One patient was transported to Long Beach Memorial in unknown condition, and the second patient was declared deceased at the scene. The CHP closed the number 4 lane while officers investigated the incident. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
