Los Angeles, United States - January 30, 2025 01/30/2025 12:15 am (GMT-0800) PARAMOUNT, Calif. – A fatal shooting of a suspect involved the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at Somerset and Paramount Boulevards shortly after midnight. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time. According to initial reports, the incident appears to have occurred at the Paramount Sheriff's Station. Deputies advised CPR was in progress on the suspect; however, the Los Angeles County Fire Department ultimately pronounced the suspect deceased at the scene. No deputies were reported injured. Paramount Boulevard was closed between Somerset and Rosecrans for an unknown duration.
