"Vaccination of all contacts is going to be undertaken. As I talk, we are mobilizing the Ebola vaccines in the country. The good thing: We had the vaccines and we shall begin with the contacts that so far we have listed. But also we work with the UN agency, we are working with WHO to help us secure additional doses."
The Ebola virus is highly contagious and causes various symptoms including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, generalized pain or malaise, and in many cases internal and external bleeding.
According to the World Health Organization, the fatality rate for those who contract Ebola ranges from 50 percent to 89 percent, depending on the viral subtype.
