Truck battered by waves while trying to disembark from ferry
A truck was battered by waves and was almost tossed into the sea while trying to disembark from a ferry.
Footage shows the lorry stacked with hundreds of watermelons being rocked back and forth by rough seas in Occidental Mindoro, the Philippines on January 27.
The driver quickly opened the door and hopped off when he thought his truck would plunge into the water.
However, the waves pushed the lorry backwards before its side and rear crashed into the walls of the ship.
Ferry passenger Emmanuel Mallari said: 'It happened at Abra de Ilog Port. The truck almost fell into the water. It was so scary. The waves were too strong.'
The driver was seen quickly climbing the dock and when the water was calmer, he drove it again through the ramp.
The truck had dents but no major damage was done and the cargoes were unloaded successfully.
