Hobe Sound, United States - January 28, 2025 In an incredible display of precision, a Martin County SWAT team member shot a knife out of a suspect's hand, ending a tense standoff with a bank robber. Reginald Bernard Daniels, 50, had barricaded himself in a boarding house after attempting to rob Seacoast Bank. Armed with a large knife, he threatened law enforcement for over an hour, refusing to surrender. Body cam footage captures the exact moment a SWAT member, positioned above Daniels, fired a less-lethal shot, disarming him with amazing precision. Once the knife was knocked from his hand, Daniels surrendered without further incident and was arrested on charges of attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault.
