India: Lifesaving moment! Railway police revive man by performing CPR after sudden heart attack
Mughalsarai, India - January 29, 2025 [WARNING: (Video contains) sensitive content] In a heroic act, railway police saved a man's life by performing CPR after he collapsed from a heart attack. The incident took place at a railway station in Mughalsarai city, in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, on January 29. Visuals show officers performing CPR on the man lying on the station floor, while others stand around shining flashlights. The man slowly regains consciousness as the officers lift his upper body to support him. They offer words of encouragement to reassure him. Moments later, they lift him up and take him for further medical assistance. Speaking to Newslions, Kuldeep Yadav, Head Constable, Government Railway Police from Mughalsarai mentioned that the collapsed man, a 55-year-old devotee named Devnath Malla from Bihar who was travelling back to his hometown after attending Mahakumbh. He suddenly collapsed from a heart attack while waiting for the train with his family. The station in-charge officer called Head constable Anil Tiwari to perform CPR on the man to save him. The man’s life was saved by the swift action and timely medical assistance provided by the Government Railway Police.
