This is the moment a runaway tyre causes chaos on a busy motorway.
Dashcam footage shows vehicles braking sharply as the tyre, detached from an unknown vehicle, travels erratically along the road in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on the evening of January 11.
The video clip reveals the wheel smashing into a car in the fast lane before bouncing toward the side of the highway.
A motorist safely avoids it and continues driving over a bridge after witnessing the commotion.
Authorities have not yet identified the vehicle from which the tyre came loose.
