Dashcam footage shows a man waiting to cross a busy road in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Monday, January 13.
Suddenly, just as a car approaches, the man loses his footing on the ice and falls onto his bottom, causing his legs to dart into the road.
The vehicle swerves at the last second to avoid hitting him.
Local reports said that the man narrowly avoided having his legs run over and was unharmed in the incident.
