Wild deer stranded on frozen lake rescued in Oregon
This is the dramatic moment a wild deer stranded on a frozen lake was rescued in Oregon.
Multiple rescue teams equipped with an Animal Rescue Trailer, ATR461, retrieved the hapless hoofed animal stuck on the icy surface of Fishhawk Lake on January 31.
Footage shows two rescuers carefully gliding across the lake while pushing a yellow inflatable boat.
They managed to reach the animal and gently placed it onboard.
Local media reported that after they successfully rescued the deer, it briefly rested on the shore before walking away on its own into the woods.
The animal reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
