Eerie jellyfish-like streetlight spotted in China
On January 12, 2025, in Shandong Province, located in eastern China, a video captured an unusual and unsettling streetlight illuminating the roadside at dusk.
The lamp emitted a ghostly blue glow and resembled a jellyfish, with its light pulsating and appearing to move as if alive.
The strange, otherworldly design gave off an eerie vibe, reminding many Chinese viewers of creatures from Lovecraftian mythology or alien beings from sci-fi movies. Its unsettling appearance even caused a few pedestrians to hesitate as they passed by.
