Inđija, Serbia - January 31, 2025 [Note: no sound] Students from Belgrade marched 80 km to Novi Sad to join local students in blocking all three bridges in the city. After walking 40 km, they reached the town of Indjija, where they had planned to rest in a sports hall before continuing their journey on Saturday morning. However, the president of the municipality, a member of the ruling party and Vučić's administration, ordered the hall to be locked, refusing to let the students stay overnight. In response, local citizens quickly improvised by bringing food, blankets, and mattresses, allowing the students to sleep outside at the football stadium. This act of denial and the community's response sparked outrage across Serbia.
