Ehsan Zafar Abbasi, 20, has become a local sensation in Abbottabad, Pakistan, after he managed to build a car that he could control using a computer keyboard.

The self-taught innovator spent six months transforming his family manual car into a keyboard-operated vehicle.

Footage shows Abbasi driving the car he spent $1,000 to make and sounding the horn with the press of a key.

Safety remains a priority for Abbasi, who has installed dual brakes, dual accelerator, and dual clutch controls for added security.

Encouraged by overwhelming online appreciation, he now dreams of building a wireless keyboard-controlled car and hopes for sponsorship or collaboration opportunities.
