Furious passenger shouts at fellow-flier over seat rage on plane
A furious passenger shouted at the woman behind him on the plane when she asked him to put his seat upright.
The male traveller fully reclined his economy chair while on the four-hour afternoon flight from Singapore to Hong Kong on February 1.
But the female passenger is said to have asked him to sit upright - sparking angry seat rage scenes on flight CX690.
Footage shows the man pointing his finger at the passenger, saying: 'Can I adjust my seat or not, is it in the rule? Shut your Goddamn mouth.
'Can I adjust my seat or not? When you shouted at my kid, I didn't respond, but you said I adjust, the seat, is not possible, it's your f***ing problem.'
After the heated argument, he put his headset on and sat in his chair, while one of his group could be heard arguing with the woman.
The cabin crew were seemingly frozen by the bizarre scene and did not intervene to calm the passenger.
The filmer said: 'The incident occurred because the man adjusted his seat and his two-year-old daughter ran around on the plane, affecting other passengers.'
Economy seats on the twin-aisle Airbus A350 operated by Cathay Pacific are arranged in a three-three-three configuration. The plane has 214 seats in the class.
