A TikTok livestream seller tumbled from her chair while hawking her products in front of the camera.

Christina Dogos was showing viewers her faux fur rugs when she toppled over while trying to sit down in Camarines Sur, the Philippines, on January 8.

Footage shows Christina flipping the pink carpet draped on a table before her while talking to her buyers through the app.

She felt stiff standing up for a while and aimed to sit down on the chair behind her but she slipped.

The online seller said in the video: 'Mum, help. I fell.'

Christina's mother came to the room with her toddler, and they checked on her, but Christina told the youngster she was fine so she would stop crying.

She said in the video: 'I do not know what happened. I am so sleepy. Let us have a commercial break first.'

Christina was not hurt and laughed afterwards, trying to collect herself before resuming selling the pink rug.

She added: 'I was live selling for an hour and felt tired and sleepy. When I was about to sit in the chair I slipped and fell. I called my mother who asked me what happened.'

TikTok's live selling feature, known as TikTok Shop, has seen significant growth in recent years, surpassing 100 million USD in single-day sales in the U.S. alone on Black Friday last year.

By 2026, experts predict that 40 per cent of app users will make online purchases through the platform - posing a significant threat to tech conglomerates such as Amazon, Google and Facebook.

However, the Chinese-owned company has also faced challenges, including Indonesia's ban on e-commerce transactions on social media platforms, forcing TikTok to suspend its shopping service there.
