A severe snow storm significantly reduced visibility in Washington.

Dramatic footage shows the harsh winter weather, with relentless snowfall and strong winds blanketing Ferndale early on Monday morning, February 3.

Local media reported that Ferndale had received 4.8 inches of snow by 9:14 am.

Parts of the state were under a winter weather advisory on Sunday, and the National Weather Service warned that ongoing snow accumulation might lead to dangerous conditions on the roadways of northwest Washington.

Authorities urged drivers and residents to exercise extreme caution as the storm continued.
