Edgewater, United States - January 28, 2025 Body-cam footage released by the Edgewater Police Department shows the tense moments after Kristina Vitucci, 35, and her boyfriend Joshua Harris, 39, were arrested for felony child neglect. The couple left Vitucci’s two-year-old daughter alone in an unlocked car for several hours outside a bar on Ridgewood Avenue. Police responded to a report from a witness who heard screaming from the vehicle and discovered the child alone inside. The footage captures officers opening the car door to check on the toddler, just as Harris approaches with the keys, claiming to be the mother’s boyfriend. Vitucci was escorted from the bar to the parking lot, where officers questioned both adults separately. The child was safely removed from the vehicle. Following their arrest, the couple was recorded arguing in the back of a police car, blaming each other for the charges. The investigation is ongoing.
