A pet Dalmatian adorably ran over to a bus to greet a pupil coming home from school.

Footage shows the one-year-old white and black spotted puppy named Bamboo perched on a table while patiently waiting for the bus to arrive.

When Bamboo saw a yellow vehicle making familiar horn sounds, it dashed to the roadside to welcome the youngster who hopped off the bus.

The canine led the way for the boy, and they went home together in Phichit province, Thailand, on February 4.

Mum Chonthicha Rueangdecha said: 'Bamboo is so smart. The other school buses look similar, but our dog knew the right horn sound.'

Dalmatian dogs are considered intelligent and known for their problem-solving skills, trainability, and quick learning ability.
