A pet owner trained his pet fish to respond to the dinner bell ringing.
Amusing footage shows how the little koi fish immediately swim near the small bell on their long, winding tank upon hearing its sound, knowing it is feeding time, in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China, on January 16.
The fish can be seen rushing up and patiently waiting next to the bell for the owner to sprinkle food into the water.
The owner said that it took him a month to train the fish to respond to the bell.
It is a common misconception that fish can only remember the last few seconds of their lives. Studies have shown that they can remember events for days and, in some cases, even weeks.
